I was at the Gender Centre on Monday for their monthly women’s group (all TV / TS / Intersex can go) and it was great!
Anthony, one of the counsellors, gave a talk on bullying and what is means in a transgender context. It was also a chance to listen to a number of other girls talk about their experiences.
I highly recommend checking out the Gender Centre, especially if you need counselling for serious issues. They concentrate on providing support although there is a social element to it as well.

The Gender Centre has moved from Bent St Petersham to 41-43 Parramatta Rd Annandale. All other contact details remain the same and Stanmore is still the closest railway station. You just have to walk 180deg the opposite way.

…..or if you’re on the bus, it’s the stop just before Johnston Street if you’re coming from the city.
I think it still has the sign for “Dei &Pichi” above it. It!’s now a walk-in kindofpkace with the admin and stuff at the rear and meetings etc. at the front.
