NSW: Trans Glamore at the Columbian Hotel
Not that I ever ventured out but knowing about the once famous Taxi Club in Sydney, I can recall lots of articles or invites to the Taxi Club as a safe place for Transgender people. Sadly the Taxi Club close around 2 – 3 years ago.. However it appears a new venue has taken up the gauntlet in Sydney.. The Colombian Hotel hosts Trans Glamore once a month.. It was so popular it got a write up by the ABC news last week.. For those of you interested here is the link to the article.

I used to visit the Taxi Club back in the day. It was good to be in a place where you could just be yourself. Will have to try the Colombian next.

This is really interesting to me. I have for many years been a reasonably accomplished live music creator and performer. I have been thinking that I would somehow like to unleash Tina as a performer but wondering where to start. The last song I wrote was about being a cross dresser! Of course there are innumerable well known songs which can also be performed in that context to amuse.
