    Hello to all on TGR,

I’ve recently been scratching around on line looking for something special in the way of sleepwear and to my delight found the lovely ladies who run Velvet Jayne Lingerie, Miranda, especially the wonderful and (very patient ) Melina.

Whoever would have thought it would take 20 plus e.mails to finalise an order!!

But of course the main thing in the end, was a satisfied customer and that’s what really counts. Once my requirements were settled, it took no time at all for me to receive them and to state I am happy with the pieces I purchased is an “undiesstatement”.

    Sorry very bad pun….

So if your requirements are similar to “Mayne”, look no further then Velvet “Jayne”.

And yes I totally agree, my poetry is as bad,(possibly worse), than my puns.In fact I’m half way scared the moderator of this post will delete it because of the above……..LOL

Finally found some time last week to visit Velvet Jayne. Very friendly sales girl helped size some new breastforms and find some comfy bras. Not to mention, try on about a third of the shop. After nearly two hours, I left very happy with a couple of new lingerie sets, shapewear and some new sleep wear.

Parking is very easy at the Westfield. Well worth the drive!

Thanks Caty and Sammie. This sounds good and is only a minor diversion from my regular route from the south coast to Sydney. I must make time to check it out on my next trip.

    Hi to all on TGR…

Ah the “old networker” in me is so pleased you two lovely ladies have either been or plan to go to Velvet Jayne.

Sammie, the fact they fitted you for new forms and bras also backs up a post I was going to do a while back about that bra fitter from David Jones. IE It’s not just the mainstream stores that will assist us “gender diverse”, there are other places such as Lisa’s Lacies here in Vic at Seaford, my old favorite Lady Bird Lingerie in Gympie Qld and of course, for our Tassie members and via my recent post, Not Just Bras in Hobart.

In short, I’m sure that if discretion is shown on both sides there would not be many female clothing retailers these days who would not welcome our custom. Our $$$ are as good as anyone’s and retail especially for the smaller stores is as tough as ever these days

Of course one of the real treats, at least for me is a personalised bra fitting and I’ve had a couple of those over the years.

And tho’ I’m more than well fitted for numbers of bras, (think I have more than my beloved), if I ever got to Velvet Jayne, I’m sure I would not walk out of the store empty handed.

Especially since as I have mentioned in the past, I love the way they welcome us by stating they will happily fit anyone’s “secret self”.

    Brilliant marketing!!!

    Happy bra fitting
