Has anyone had this procedure done. I was thinking about it rather than having a full sex change as I am over 50 and dont want to go down the Hormone road etc.

Appears to be a relatively simple procedure but its possible you would still need to have been on Hormone treatment for at least 12 mths prior and satisy medicos you are making an informed decision.

Im sure that a Doctor at a Clinic like Taylor Square Private Clinic in Darlinghurst could provide you with more information

I considered this little procedure some years ago as a relativelysimple alternative to the dreaded HRT, however I think you would still need to be on a low dose HRT to combat sweats and other nasties.. (quoted by a shrink). O squeezed my thighs together and embarked on full HRT.

    Dear Brona,
With an orchidectomy and no oral hormones you will liable to osteoporosis and fractures.
Don’t do it or take oestrogens to protect you from the above.
    Regards,
    Jenny

Thank you for your advice Jenny. Im guessing a Doctor would recommend Hormones as part of the overall job.
