    Hi stef

I doubt that you will find an outlet in Australia that caters specially for our frames but I have recently been dealing with crossdresser.com and foumd them excellent. They do make clothes specifically for cd’s and I have bought a couple of dresses that I am delighted with plus lots of other stuff. Arrives in about 3 weeks and freight for average package is $52. This resource has added a new delightful dimension to my femme life as I don’t like shopping in stores.

Suddenly Femme and Electronique Boutique are good sources. I recommend both

    Hi Girls,
Many years ago my wife and I had a small clothing company where we manufactured a range of, shall we say specialty clothes. We have been considering getting back into business but manufacturing skirts, tops, dresses etc that actually fit the Australian frame. I find tops never meet my jeans, skirts never sit on your waiste and stop at the right place; all that sort of stuff. Our prices were keen becasue we were small and kept overheads down. Considering the economic climate I wonder if this thought is worth following through with. Your thoughts?

There are plenty of shops around that specialise in clothes for chubby girls, like for example I like the City Chic here in Canberra. They’re not a bad place to start if you’re looking for plus size ladieswear.

Hi Sue…oh my god yes it is a fab idea…i am sick of looking at clothes that dont do what i want them to…i know my style and we are different to the female image so our outfits must be suited to what a crossdresser really needs…wider shoulders that cut to the waist with longer torso…i could go on forever…would love to chat some time…regards…Jaclyn

    Hi Susan

I also support your idea. Although I am lucky to fit normal womans clothes and hormones have made it easier with shape, I have the same problem that any TS/TG or even GG that is 6 foot tall or taller, those tops are just too short, knee length skirts are short, and the standard nitie is just way too short.

The fact is that there are so many CD’s that have not made it out for the first time and do not have the confidence to buy retail, so more CD friendly outlets available the better.

    Great Idea.

    Sue,

What a great idea, I am buying clothes from the USA because of their availability and their price. A great option, but with a $40 postage etc it gets a bit out of hand cost wise. An outlet here comprising of clothes made in Aust that caters specifically for CDs would have my full support. As an old car advertisement once said: “Please Consider”

    Hi all,
You have all been so wonderfully supportive. I have made the decision, 99%, that I will throw in my job and start up again. It will be a couple of months away before we have stock but I shall advise you all if Amanda is happy to let me use these forums as first point of contact and thereafter a web site.

    Love and hugs
