OUTED! NO, YOU’VE BEEN CAUGHT WITH A QUEEN.
I’m starting this discussion piece to see if anyone else has a story they wish to share and have a laugh about being outed, in the last few months I have been outed several times. As much as Rosemary is out and about there were still a few boundaries in my life.
    A story about my Cleaning Lady I’ll call Sally;
I hired a cleaning lady to clean my house last year due to several injuries I had. Everything was going well with all traces of Rosemary hidden in the spare room wardrobe on cleaning day, this was until last October. I had left the wardrobe door open when I went to work, showing a good selection of Rosemary’s wardrobe. When I got home and found the open door my instant thoughts were OMG, I didn’t panic just made a cuppa and sat down to have a think, and the result was 3 changes,
    1. I don’t hide Rosemary from the Sally anymore.
    2. Also Rosemary has just about taken over the whole walk in wardrobe, photo attached.
    3. I have new little phrase, OUTED NO, YOU’VE BEEN CAUGHT WITH A QUEEN.
It was not until January this year whilst having a few days off that I caught up with Sally, I was dressed in women’s tee shirt and shorts with maroon polish on both finger and toe nails. She just grinned the entire time she was there. Outed no, she was caught with a queen. The point I’m making here is society is a lot more accepting of us T-girls today, if you want to add an experience please do so, for any one finding it difficult to come out I hope this helps you, and remember don’t panic and just say to yourself, OUTED NO, YOU’VE BEEN CAUGHT WITH A QUEEN, and have a laugh. I have several other little stories which I’ll post if anyone is interested.

Outed, well not really, but I have a reasonably new job which takes me around the country and as such allows me to dress as often as I like. It’s true bliss to know that you can have the freedom to dress as much as you like. I travel with two wardrobes and it’s so liberating. I have found myself being bolder in my outings and literally just going out dressed wherever and whenever I can. People don’t really care, so long as you act accordingly and within reason. I know I don’t pass, but this doesn’t matter anymore because of the way it has become. Yes, I get looked at, but I believe it’s because I feel that I present well and don’t do anything to offend people. It’s so much better today than it ever was in the past. Thank you world, for let us express our diversity. I am a man that loves to express his/her feminine side.

Yes Jessica so true and slightly off topic. But like you while working I often travelled to Melbourne for work and regularly dined as me in the hotel and out. Initially worried of being found out or “caught as a queen” by the staff everything would be hidden. After a few visit the heels and dresses were left hanging in the closet, the makeup in the bathroom. All very neat. In the closet, but out! A great way to finish a stressful work day take off the tie and put on a frock. Bliss and thank you world and thank you “work” for the opportunity to progress.

Thank you for your reply and story Jessica, it reminds me of a radio interview I heard where Caitlyn Jenner tells how at one point Bruce would travel with two suitcases, Bruce’s and Caitlyn’s and the places & things Caitlyn would do whilst away from home, as well as the acceptance she received whilst being Caitlyn.

A couple of years ago, well, a lot of years ago. I was in Melbourne with girlfriend and her daughter. Girlfriend knew about and had been out with me as Claire, this was her daughters first meeting. We went into the city centre and after parking under the Arts Centre walked along St Kilda road towards the CBD.
A crowd of well dressed ladies walked toward us, well dressed as in evening dresses, I was dressed down in t-top and skirt with sandals. They were all very elegant.
Among the group was a lady I knew very well, we worked together! I think we both had the perfect deadpan expressions on our faces. She didn’t appear to react.
Of course she is a huge gossip and within a few days it was all over the place. An upside was the lady and I would have long chats about shopping and make-up.

    Hi Jessica and others.
I am currently working in Canberra during the week and have been travelling with two wardrobes. Unless meeting up with work colleagues for dinner and maybe trivia, as soon as I return to the hotel I transform and wander out to eat and maybe have a Jack or two as Fay. Feels exhilarating and liberating to be able to perform normal female behaviours while dressed.

It is such a wonderful topic and one we can all relate to I’m sure.
Being able to get out and express the female side of my personality it such a liberating feeling and one I have come to enjoy. I have given up being nervous and just step out of the car and head straight into wherever I’m going. I truly believe we are our worst enemies and create unfounded fears in our heads, that stop us from enjoying ourselves. I just make sure I’m always dressed accordingly and never to offend and this has helped me to “blend” in more.
    Happy dressing everyone.

Hi ladies, thanks for all your inputs on this forum topic, today I had the day off and caught up with my cleaning lady during the morning, when I asked Sally what she thought as Rosemary’s closet appeared in my walk in robe. Sally replied there were a lot of little giveaway’s leading up to me coming out, like only one sink used in the en-suite with makeup traces in it, finding long hair strands on the tiles, but only a guy living in the house, then the women’s clothes and handbags, but the big shoes, and wigs were the real giveaway. We both had a laugh about that and she is of the opinion live and let live, I told her about this blog and me referring to her as Sally the cleaning lady, again another laugh and a big smile god bless her. Sally also told me as cleaner you come across a few different things in people’s homes, and she notices because you have to pay attention to the house you are cleaning. Rosemary

Well not quite outed, I admitted to it. My first night out as Rosie, and my debut was Tranactshon, at Katoomba. I was dressed in male mode, and was walking in the hallway, where I meet an acquaintance who was prominent in the rural NSW Centre where I lived. He greeted me cordially, but immediately asked, “What are you doing here?” I replied, “Going to the Ball”. He continued the questioning, “As a partner?”

Moment of truth time, right here, “No, I am going dressed”. He looked surprised, then said “Let’s meet for a drink in twenty minutes”.

We meet for a drink and I learned a bit about the Regional NSW town where I lived. It was a great catch up, and fitting start to my debut as Rosie. The proverbial genie was out of the bottle.
