    Hi ladies ,
I did post this before but I must have had a blonde moment as it did’nt go thru…..My question is – has anyone had surgery in Bangkok? My friend did last December and said that it was fine and all went well. I am booked in for eyes , cheeks filler etc etc on the Gold Coast with a A1 surgon but for heaps of cash and reports I’ve heard from some Forum girls is that Bangkok surgery is all good. Please can anyone help with some advice.

Hi Linda I have no personal experience of any medical procedure in Thailand but I did see a report recently on lateline or the 7.30 report (probaly 4 mths ago) about ‘ENHANCEMENT SURGERY TOURISTS ‘it all seemed very favourable and I think the main concern was the fact that the Thai government had changed the minimum decision time for gender reassignment surgery and also that the exchange rate was having an impact on bussiness I hope this helps Sharon

I’ve heard a lot people say Thailand is fine for FFS and others who say no they don’t know the western face as well and the results are not as good.
IS it a gamble? I don’t know it’s not known to be right?
I’m setting my sights on eyes, rhinoplasty in AU and SRS in Thailand because I’d rather be sure than have any doubts. Undecided on tracheal shave, depends how much it costs here and whether I can wait another year.

There are a few people who promote this view. There are surgeons over there that provide “before” and “after” photos… (eg “Dr Chet”).. Perhaps some photographic research would be studious.

    Take care,

    Hi Linda…..
I have lots of friends that have has Thai surgery. I know that there are definately some surgeons NOT to go to over there.
You’ll have to do your homework. Also, there is a Yahoo forum group just about Thai FFS and SRS (sorry, I cant find the link right now)
    All the very best…

There are two yahoo groups the main one:-
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ffs-support/

    and the second one…

    Quote:
There also exists a secondary group/list called FFS-2.
This has been created primarily to provide extra storage space for photos but ALSO serves as a secondary list to allow the discussion of topics not directly related to FFS. If you want to post anything off-topic, then this is the place to do it – not on the main list.

Thank you ladies for your input…. hard call I think, but more bang for your buck is not always the best when we have to live with the results and our partners….. lovers for the rest of our lives, maybe the Australian surgons are a little more user friendly. But there are good reports and not so good…..GOD

    Love to all
