I have just watched a movie tonight called ‘Pride’. It was on Foxtel. It’s about the Coal Miners strike in the UK in the 80’s and the Gays and Lesbians who supported them. It apparently is based on fact and I cried and smiled and identified with so many of the parts of the movie that I am probably the worst person to give an objective report. All I can say is that if you can get a chance to see it, do it., , speaks to the heart.

One thing I did gain from the movie is that I cannot sit back and let others carry the fight for equality and rights for me, I have to play my part, however small or large.

I also loved the film on many levels- the struggle for justice and transcending of boundaries. I feared up too!
