    Happy Birthday Forums!

As I passed through the site admin pages I noticed that this forum was started on 21 Mar 2004 08:54 pm.

That means it is now 5 years old! :bounce:

Before the forum was started we used a yahoo group –
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tranny/
    from 1999 to 2004 – another 5 years!

Back in 2004 we would struggle to get 25 postings a month.
Which was lucky because I had to copy across all the useful information by hand across into the “new” forum.

Now the number of postings each is over 225 – with a record one month of 299!

In fact, even with moderators culling old postings, we have collected about 7300 articles – a lot of valuable reading for new members! Though you would need quite a bit of spare time to get through it all!

Who knows what the next 5 years will bring!
Keep up the good work girls!

    Yes…congratulations!

Since joining I have met so many great people, and made so many awesome and beautiful friends…some of you even destined to be life long friends…

And even though Amanda and I have had our disagreements in the past, I totally appreciate all the work she has put into providing this community for us…

Thank you Amanda for your great resource. It was one of the things that helped me get me head around who I was and where I wanted to go.

I can on ever send my thanks for all the help TR and all the wonderful people that inhabit here have brought me.

I do remember reading posts well into the early hours when I first joined and the information I found. I also have found some life long friends from here that have changed my life for ever in a good way. (Hi Ems)

    Thanks all

    xxxx

Amanda I would like to say thank you for your efforts. I only joined up in May 2008 but have found this site to be a great place to be at. You must also be congratulated once again and thanked for your work to overcome the recent hacking debarcle which I’m sure cost you a lot of time. Time that you would have much rather spent in other ways that were much more pleasurable I’m sure.

Glad to be here and looking forward to the next five years and beyond,
    Peta A.

I also want to say thank you Amanda. TR has been a support and social network for me, it kinda helped me figure out who I really was. I’ve met the best friends I’ve ever had in my whole life through TR

If it never existed then who knows where I would be right now, its scary!!

This is your legacy and it will live on forever, you’ve helped a lot of people, you should be very proud :)
