    Sensitive nipples.

Posted by Anonymous on 03/03/2010 at 11:43 pm

Looking through the forum, I could possibly post this in one of a few areas but in any case I couldn’t find an answer anywhere that I looked so here goes:

My nipples finally started to get tender/sensitive after nearly six months of HRT and they have now been this way for basically two and a half months. I keep forgetting to get on the subject when I meet up with people in person so my question is “what experiences do any of you on HRT have that you can share here?” I’m just trying to work out whether or not a visit to the G.P. is necessary as this breast growing thingy is all new to me. I know that we aren’t doctors here but some basic patterns would be helpful to know, that way if I need to go to the doctor then I can relate some basic thoughts to her in regard to my situation.

    Thanks for reading and/or replying,
    Peta A.

I Think I started around the same time as you on HRT (well on estrogen) I’d already begun AA’s in march 09. I found I got sensitive nipples and breasts after the first few months but after some time that feeling goes and they just slowly slowly get bigger.

It’s basically a sign that growth is happening and you should enjoy it! ^_^

I think I started my HRT about a month behind both of you (Peta and Shannon). My nipples got sensitive and tender during the first 2 months. Then it went away for a while. Within the past two months, the tenderness and sensitivity came back again stronger, and I can also start to feel sensitive lumps forming around my nipples (especially around my left nipple). I got my psychiatrist to feel it to see if it was anything to be of concern. He said it was fine and was all part of normal breast development (which was good news to me) – with the breast continuing to grow around that sensitive lump around my nipples. This is my experience so far as far as breast development goes. Hope it helps in some ways. xx

Two and a half years later and mine are still tender. ;-)

    Its perfectly normal.

You are going through puberty again, and puberty for a girl last years.

    Take care,

I do agree with you Jess … I am 3-4 years down the track and still getting a small amount of developement. You know cos they still get very sensitive …. all part of puberty.

    Yes !
I developed sore and sensitive nipples along with hard lumps after injections of Testosterone .My doc told me that its a side effect of taking T … excess T is made into Estrogen (and far more than the average male needs) by the body thus the boobs etc. Mine largely dissappeared after a few months – sadly . I say sadly as they were a whole new erogenous zone for me ! A simple stroking of my nipples sent me into ectasy .When walking around they made me feel like I had actual breasts. So i guess painful nipples are par for the course when on estrogen but its ( to me ) a small price to pay for breasts .My view is that a lot of males would benefit from that experience . Not only would they find out how females feel ( just a bit ) but as I said they may just enjoy a new centre of pleasure
