    Dear Emily
I agree with you whole heartedly !
Unlike some members of the female gender who want to lay down sort of rules about what should and shouldn’t be worn by Ladies I feel the tg /tv/trans/call us what you like community are very accepting of what each girl wants to wear and what she wants to look like .So Im convinced that what ever we are comfortable in is right ! For those who may want to blend into/pass in society there may be guidelines to follow but other wise if th skirt fits and you like it please wear it I say
    Hugs
    Suzz

I think other5s have nailed it; the correct length is whatever you are comfortable with, with ‘comfortable’ being defined by your own feelings. I’m personally not a fan of very short skirts (some of my clubbing dresses excepted) so tend not to wear them; I go for knee-length and below. But then I like the ‘hippy chick’ look, partially because I find it’s ‘age appropriate’ no matter how old I am (or look); it doesn’t seem to date :-)

My problem is that (I think) I have nice legs, so like to show them off, but that I also like long skirts. Always causes me some confussion when choosing outfits :-)

    Length?
Depends on whether you are trying to dress for yourself, or if you are dressing for others.
While you may be comfortable in an incredibly short skirt, others may not be comfortable viewing you in said skirt.
Your attire should be appropriate to the situation.
