Soveriegn Hill, Victoria
Hi All,
Did anyone catch Getaway last night? They have a package at the museum in “Soveriegn Hill”, where you can stay overnight and get a look behind the scenes of the museum, and included is night tours, drinks and dinner, all in period costume. I was thinking of emailing them and asking if they would consider a group of TG/TV girls, the dresses looked fabulous and I could not think of much better than spending a night/day in a period dress.Anyone interested in this sort of event?

Yes Susan, I saw the same show and had similar thoughts.
It would be a wonderful experience and I am sure there are TR members that would love to participate.I would love to commit, however my enfemme oportunities are very limited these days
, but if by some chance the date, the sun and the moon align

I have contacted the museum and they require a minimum booking of 10 people. If I get enough interest over the next few weeks I shall enquire further about our requirements.

I think this would be wonderful. I would dearly love to do something like this. I don’t get much opportunity to get away but if I could manage the timing I would be interested.

Many years ago, i spent 3 days as a parent/helper on a school “in period costume” camp at Sovereign Hill. Even though I was there as a “dad” it was a great buzz being part of the atmosphere of the place.
If you get the chance to go there – GO FOR IT
