Sun damage
The midday sun. Sun damage is cumulative. Skin can be thought of as a kind of radiation dosimeter.
The sun gives us health but not to much particularly at midday. The individual balance is important. You should know your skin type and act accordingly
The sun give us important vitamin D
But using sun screen blocks UVb that produces vitamin D. Admittedly some UVb will get thru and to untreated parts of the body but is it enough. I will leave you with that to look into.
But sun screen has another potential in harming the skin, possibly killing your skin cells
