    Hi all.

I’m now heading down the path of the HRT road, however I would like know if there are any MD’s around the south of Brisbane that’s more in tune with the requirements and needs, both to start the HRT and ongoing reviews, I don’t have a regular doctor, so changing to another is of no real consequence.
The initial visit I’m sure will be frought with nerves as this is a major change and decision in my life both physically and mentally.
I look forward to answers either here or direct via email.

    Thanks Pat

You will find many other forum posts to answer your question, but for a Gender Diverse knowledgeable GP you could contact:

    Dr Fiona Bisshop
    CENTRAL BRUNSWICK MEDICAL CENTRE
    http://www.cbmc.com.au/Doctor2.php

    I did.

    Hi Bambi.
Thanks for taking time to reply, since posting this enquiry I have been in contact with ATSAQ, they where kind enough to offer the same information.
I will in the next few days get in contact with the center and get some addtional information, and I hope make an appointment with them.

I reckon go into any doctor I’m sure they can’t say no I mean its not a fad or craze, but I personally wouldn’t go any where near men’s health cause men’s health is for men you in short term long term have no desire to be connected with men’s services.
Good luck just go in tell them what you want and show how positive the step is in your life :)

    Hi Chelsea and thanks.

As I mentioned not having a regular Doctor and having a general Medical issue I would agree with you.
But having someone already versed in the intricate details of HR and giving advise and guidance as to what to reasonably expect, is what I would feel more comfortable with..

I really don’t wish to be under the care of a general MD that has not had any prior dealings with this region of health and welfare. When I do go down this path I will have enough to worry about, let alone wondering if the person I am giving my life too knows little more than me..

A bit long winded but thanks for the reply..

BTW..(I was advised it’s Not HRT as I am not a GG only GG have HRT !! .. WE HAVE HR..???) but anywhoo
