Yes that article is great. Get a professional makeup artist to show you how. Nothing better than seeing it done on your face so you can do it yourself.

I became a regular customer of a make-up counter in Myers at Chadstone. The young lady who got to know me would often assist me in choosing my colours in make-up, also showing me how to apply them. I was a lot braver in those days. She would quickly apply it and quickly remove it before I left. -

Good post – as long as it doesn’t encourage us to give up because we ‘look too male’. Never talk to me about my nose!!!
I’m amused why you thought the topic was only relevant for ‘part-timers’. I know hormones do change a few facial features over time – but most of what the article describes isn’t going to change suddenly when you go from 7-11 to 24-7. And certainly not if you are determined to race ahead of the speed of your body changes.
So a good article for EVERYONE!

Like so many of us i struggle with makeup and i unfortunately have strong male features but this was very interesting and helpful thanks for that.

An interesting article which encapsulates most of our concerns re our male facial characteristics and some of the things we can do to improve our “disguise”. I had nose surgery done to reduce the size although not specifically to “feminise” it. It still looks male although thankfully not the face-mounted battering ram it once was and makes me feel more confident in female mode. I would certainly agree that eye make-up is the most important key to enhancing one’s “femaleness”.
Thank you Christina for posting this.
