    And remember to sit down to pee! :)

    on this note, if you do use the Ladies’ toilets and do NOT sit down, as a courtesy please please please put the toilet seat back down!

    and to prevent suspicion.

    This will lead almost inevitably to the discussion of why we think it is De-regeur to sit on the seat…but when you actually ask those who have frequented public Ladies toilets from birth you get a different answer.

    Experts say 85 per cent of British women squat or hover over toilet seats when using public conveniences, as opposed to sitting down.

    However..I believe that whether one squats or sits – the protocol is always to leave the seat down.

    But I could be wrong on this.

    I certainly have never heard the seat being “adjusted” in a Ladies – and such a sound could therefore be a dead giveaway!

    Hey girls,

    Yes, I did sit to pee,, so no issues with the seat. I have a ‘tuck’ invention of my own that allows me to do that, also when no toilet is around, …I can go and ‘squat’ behind the bushes when out. The first time I tried out my invention in the backyard at home, …I pee’d all over a favourite dress (stop laughing), so there are some finer details one must be aware of when toileting oneself, in the bush or in a public toilet.

    Having said that, I must add that this whole experience felt so very natural to me, never at any stage did I feel any sexual excitement, .it was all over so quickly..I just went in, found a cubicle, did what I had to do, adjusted my clothing, washed my hands and went out. ….But quickly, – as a busy girl would do – with one small detail;

    Remember always to pause and check your hair in the mirror before leaving. This is what every woman would do and most males would not. This action is I believe a small way to verify silently to others present that you have a right to be there, and that you care about yourself and your appearance.
    Then make your exit quickly and silently. Do not dwell on what you have just accomplished, but remember to smile at others, because a smile is the easiest and quickest way to lay their suspicions to rest.
