End of the Wharf bar is slated to open when the wharf redevelopment is complete – and that according to their website is 2020. As a senior member (who isn’t round here?) I would prefer somewhere where one can sit down to eat and converse with a group of people. Thinking cap is on!

It was a fabulous late night spot in the 80s /90s, fantastic interior and Ive been wondering whether it might be worth a thought for Transfusion this year.

Anyone interested in joining me for a Sat night there next month to check it out.?

After chatting with my daughter in law this afternoon she suggests I eliminate the Marble Bar from consideration. Trusting her views as I do Kristen and I have cancelled the plan to go there next Saturday.
So!!! …please dont anyone go there expecting to meet ip with us.
My D in Law has suggested some other venues which I’ll check out.

Meanwhile I thought it important to at least confirm the date for this years event.

So…….. please note Saturday 30th November in your diaries. and stay tuned for further news.

I am so lucky to have a daughter in Law who worked in Events Management and knows her way around many of the fine dining and cocktail bars in our lovely Harbour City.

Shes helped me find our Venue for TransFusion 2019

I am in the process of firming up arrangements and will make a post soon about the venue which just happens to overlook Darling Harbour .

For this occasion I do really need to know how many people are coming as I am booking a rather large table and I will need to confirm numbers in a couple of months from now.

So… please help me get an idea now if you DEFINITELY will be attending.

Hi Girls

Our Transfusion Party is getting close and I visited Blackbird on Friday .. its a great venue and Im sure everyone will love it and have a great time,, Some surprises during the evening that I hope you will enjoy.
I think ! I have the following, so far, as guests for the night, If your name is not on this list and you want to attend please let me know via TGR messaging as i want to confirm final numbers in a few weeks from now ie by first week November

Yes I am definitely attending Xmas. I have been talking to Tess and Shirley here in TMW and I know they are thinking of attending for the weekend. Woo Hoo!!! Based on numbers and all the girls I know who are attending I think this is going to be a very special night. This Event has been on our calendar since 2007 so if you havnt been to one before make the decision soon and let me know
How to get there options

1. Train to town hall station then a 15 minute walk down towards Darling Harbour
2. Wilson parking in Sussex St closes at 1 am but $15.00 flat rate
3. Uber or Taxi to Darling Harbour East drop off points
4. Helicopter . Well if you plan to arrive by helicopter your’e a RICH BITCH and we dont want to be seen with you go somewhere else for the evening LOL
5. Walk any furtherr than from TownHall Station ??? you have to be kidding.
