“Transgender” in the USA” Womanless pageant” post
Hi to all on TGR,
I have been a big fan of Stana and Femulate from the US for many years and it was through her site I discovered the penchant for certain US states, (ahead of many others), in the practice of holding “womenless pageants”.
Most of these are at high school level, but some are run with adults.
The High school ones take me back to my teen years and I get green with jealousy.
Bless me, I was a male only tech school boy and would have had no hope of having anything like this happen to me!!!
Thus this post from femulate about the juxtaposition between the “gender bathroom debate” and the fact the States that appear to be the most regressive on this subject are also the ones that go to the most trouble to dress their teenage sons as totally believable females.

The writer quite rightly makes the stark contrast between the time, trouble and expense these folks go to in these events with their totally different attitude to
the “bathroom” issue. I still think toilet is Ok, I’m “done” with all the Americanisms creeping into our idiom…Interesting stuff!!

Thanks for another great post Caty. Fascinating insight into an activity I did not know existed. I am sure it lets the dressing genie out of the bottle for a number of the contestants. An activity they are likely to continue with. Also appreciate the significant offline support and advice you have given me of late and despite the distance between us geographically. Highlights the great capacity of this website to assist us interact and share situations we have in common.
