    OMG…What can I say ? …..
    Is this a Tabloid article ? No ! It’s Nine MSN !!
    http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/1064917/transsexual-put-kids-in-cages-fed-them-dog-food

    No wonder the name “Transsexual” gets a hard time sometimes !
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    “A transsexual filmmaker has been arrested for allegedly locking her children in cages, forcing them to eat dog food and then posting videos of the abuse online.
    Police have accused the 41-year-old, who was born Alan Todd but now goes by the name Alle Segretti, of using his four young children as actors in a series of degrading online films.
    “Officers who went [inside Segretti’s home] found video cameras and lights in all rooms,” a police source told UK newspaper The Sun
    “The allegation was that the kids were locked in cages and they’d been made to eat cat and dog food while their dad filmed them.”
    Segretti, who was a guest on US reality show Kirstie Alley’s Big Life earlier this year, had two boys and two girls with at least two different women before he decided to live as a woman.
    Three of the children have now been taken into police protection, and another is being cared for by his birth mother.
    A neighbour said Segretti was often filming in the street and “strutting round as a director”.
    “Nobody cares how he dresses but we do care that he makes the kids the subject of his wacko films and that they looked underweight,” the neighbour said.
    Police are investigating claims Segretti posted the films of her children on YouTube or broadcast them live from her own website.
    This article has been exposed as potentially fake news. Please read all this thread for details
    I wonder, if the person in question had, lets say, long legs and so very tall – would the headline then have been “very tall man locks kids in cages” ?
    Seriously doubt it. Once again the media showing that the only way they can sell a story is to making it as “shocking” as possible. Really this persons gender identity should not have come into the story. It had no bearing on the facts beyond sensationising it. Really the only thing the media gets out of this is to sell the story (or click throughs) and sully every other t person with the stench of this sickening crime.
    There is no balance in reporting. Probably never going to see “transexual saves bus load of school children” or the like… It’s just about making money and shock value..
    It is another typical media beatup of T folk but who can honestly say that once the frock is on they don’t have an overwhelming desire to put the kids in a cage and feed them some Pal??? I know I do!!
    “It will put the can in the basket!!!!”
    Actually the fake story which was pulled off Nine MSN after they were notified two days later, is about me.
    And yes, as the first comment challenges, I do have long legs, very very known for my legs, and I am tall, 6′ to be exact.
    And no, I’m.not male, and not am I Transexual.
    But don’t let that get in the was of a great fake story that haunts me 8 years on.
    The sickening part is, there were no facts to the alleged sickening crime that never happened. The Transsexual reference was probably the closest element of truth, despite me not being transsexual.
    Hey I’ve been away long enough that my profile was deleted but how is it that an “unknown” profile can post here, not to mention something so defamatory, triggering and false? I imagine plenty of us have been suggested or outright accused of being in some way damaging or unfit parents. How is this appropriate to be anonymously posted?
    This is a very old thread.
    When it was posted originally the poster was a member and their name was shown.
    Subsequently the member removed their profile.
    This is not the same as going dormant – the member took steps to delete their information from the database.
    With no current data about the member in the database the system cannot display the name of the original poster.
    And removing all the unknown member posts just isn’t feasible given the nature of the forum threads and commenting.
    In most cases I can find the name of the unknown member by searching the member number in past lists of members… but you would have to pay me to spend the time to do that!
    The original post only quoted an article that had appeared in ninemsn. The unknown poster did not write the opinion piece. I see no reason to delete the thread.
    I can give a very good reason for deleting the thread.
    Thanks to the Rush and Wislon cases, I’m.about to take proceedings in the General court listing every site I have historically asked to remove this rubbish to pay compensation.
    This thread was brought to my attention by a friend who came across it by accident when doing a Google search about me.
    Anyway, it’s already capture and logged, including my previous attempts to have this thread removed in 2012 and 2014.
    My bad that unashamed it was gone after the second request.
    In response to this posting which threatens TgR (and so the admins) with litigation Prisee’s community profile has been suspended. Attacking the site and its members is a breach of the Acceptable Conduct Policy.
    I totally reject the complaints made by Prisee against this thread.
    The original post is a copy of an article posted by Ninemsn in the public domain. The forum thread is private and only fully visible by a few hundred TgR members.
    The original post copies an article that names the director as “born Alan Todd but now goes by the name Alle Segretti” . I am not aware if TgR has ever has a member called Alle. A new member going by the name of Prisee posted 8 years later that the story was about them. I have no proof that Prisee is indeed the Alan/Alle mentioned in the original article.
    I accept that the quoted article, like possibly many others quoted in these forums, is apparently not factually correct. Subsequent posts in the thread make it clear to any reader that the original quoted article has been called into question.
    In case anyone still is taken in by such sensational reporting and doesn’t read on, I have added a warning to the bottom of the original article.
    If you search for “Alle Segretti” in Google you can read plenty about her career and also the “Kids in cages” episode. But in this time when we are bombarded by fake news I think it is useful to have a lasting reminder to readers that everything you read in the media is not necessarily true.
    I have never received a request from the original poster to remove her post. I cannot, and will not, delete threads on request from a third party without proof that they are connected to the original post or poster.
    Neither will I comment on the threat to sue TgR for defamation, except that to refer Prisee to the site terms and conditions of membership which she so recently accepted. I accept no liability for content posted by others.
    I am saddened to see that some members of our community still frame their life in terms of being a victim of circumstances. I believe that such attitudes negatively impact on the perception of transgender people in society – more so perhaps than the occasional sensational fake news. After 8 years it might be time to move on.
    As site owner I’m entitled to the last word on this matter, and I have locked the thread. If you have anything to add to this matter message me.
