    Hi Girls
Need the combined brains and experience of all you lovely ladies out there. I am trying to work out somewhere that I can purchase large size jewelry. In particular ladies rings and bracelets. My fingers are quite un lady like and quite plump I never played the piano so rings are a problem as I take a size 11,12,13 depending on the finger. The same applies to my male style wrists which I cannot get any bracelets over or around. I have been on ebay and had some limited success but it is not a common size and very limited in style and appearance. Would love to hear from any ladies that have a good jewelry shop or online store that they purchase from.

Hello Glenda, can’t help with the rings, but if you have a look at ebay / jewellery / findings you’ll be able to get all sorts of things, (jump rings for instance & usually very cheap) to either increase the length of a pretty bracelet that’s caught your eye or make your own as I do, sorry, doesn’t work for bangles, but also great for necklaces & earrings

Thanks Terri I regularly trawl ebay and have found some things there but there isnt much of a selection. Caty put me on to fishing line swivels which work well for bracelets as well

What you need is a manufacturing jeweler.
Most rings can be resized depending on the settings and competence of the jeweler, bracelets can be extended bangles to can be resized.
There are many retail chains that will order larger sized jewelry on request but you have to ask about it. One here in Adelaide called Angus&Coote does ladies rings to size Z so it’s out there.

Hi Glenda , i too have this problem but i did come across 2 rings from the chain store Autograph , they make clothes for the bigger ladies and i got a wonderful fitting pair of wedges from them as well , some of the bangles did and some didn’t quite fit and there range is small but give them a shot you may find some thing there .
As we do i walked out with 2 new tops and a dress as well so be careful ..lol :)

Hi Glenda, You could try your local gem & mineral club, I belong to a club in Townsville and they have a silersmithing class where members make their own for sale to the public at much better prices than the shops. You can design your own jewelery . Look online for clubs in your area.
