United Methodist Church appoints first Transgender Deacon
While I don’t condone some of the rigid beliefs of religion and the general avoidance of the Catholic Church to recognise Transgender parishioners as normal people who by choice are not committing an eternal sin by identifying with their true beings.; it is good to see that other progressive religions actually ordain transgender followers to practise and bestow spiritual teachings as highlighted in the article at the link provided:

The article is very interesting, if for nothing other than showing how much confusion, and uncertainty, there is in what is seemingly a religion where all disciples supposedly use the same rule book.
The main thing though, is that the progress being made in some areas, offers hope that such progress will develop further.
That’s something to hold on to.
