US Retailer Target suffering backlash from bathroom policy
Hi Ladies
I am sure many of you will be fatigued and or indeed confused from all the media, political and community discourse and views expressed on the restroom debate. Hope I don’t add to that. The attached article downloaded today from news.com.au reports on the adverse impact that US retailer Target has had on its business due to its positive and practical approach to the use of its bathroom facilities by trans folk. This debate won’t be reconciled any time soon…if at all.

Hi everyone and especially my good friend Marian,
Yet again we see the contrast with legislation like this in the USA southern States, where these bathroom laws are so prevalent, juxtaposed with having your teenage, high school attending son, get all dolled up for a “womanless pageant”.
Does not make sense to me and I;d love to know which “bathroom” these young fellas use on the night of the pageant!!!

Even worse, there seems to be some official sanction for “Church Police” in some southern states! Trying to enforce their own version of Sharia law?

Sad indeed – religion is the exact opposite of what it is meant to be. We have fundamentalist christians leading the way with bigotry and hatred. sad is the word….
