Just wanted to send this question out to the rest of the girls to get some tips on disguising a broad chin. What techniques have have you used to disguise it? Shading, foundation? I’d be interested to hear what you all have to say.

    Hi Christina

The technique may also be known as contouring.

This is what I try to achieve.

apply foundation colour correct 4 your skin colour
use powder a little lighter than skin colour around nose, eyes and cheeks.
apply bronzing powder on chin, jaw line and the side of you face starting from near the ears.

The idea is to use a light colour on parts of the face to stand out and dark on areas to hide.
the cheeks and areas around the eyes should be light and the jaw line dark.
Also try to feather the colour so the change in colour is gradual (that can be hard).

Try googling using words like “contouring shading makup”

    Hope this helps :D
