Hi girls. I’m confused. You apply foundation on your face but what goes under your eye shadow ? Foundation ? Primer ? Please help

Hi Yvonne, I moisturize the eye area and then use foundation. Let it dry and then apply eye shadow. I often wear subtle brown shades when out and about in town.

    Ditto Christina.

Just use a good quality eye shadow remover so that you don’t harm the delicate skin around the eye area.

I use Urban Decay primer potion. (UDPP) Was recommended to me by many make up junkies on a U.S. make up forum I used to participate on.

This stuff is not available in Australia that I have seen, but can be obtained on ebay is where I get mine.

All I can say is it works very well with eye shadow lasting all day.

Technically primer, but as far as I know few people use it. Most people use foundation but I don’t apply it over the lid either so close to the eye I have nothing.

I use an eye makeup foundation. It helps the eyeshadow stay on better, and you get better coverage. Clinique make one called, “Touch base”. You just dab it on with your finger before applyin ayeshadow.

    Best,
