What some young males get upto when bored.
Well, upto being rude and crude, and generally a nuisance to others, that’s what. The extent of their thinking is how working out just how annoying and in what ways they can get to other people, whilst having a good laugh.
Take for instance this morning, minding my own business walking to the library in male-mode and 3 young men, sitting and wasting time obviously because they have nothing better to do with their tiny little lives and yes, you guessed it, somebody had to open their great big mouth and make himself and his friends look complete wankers. It always makes me laugh when these sort ofs wish to prove just how much of a load of idiots they are. I mean, does the low-levels to which human intelligence stoop, never stop? No, don’t answer that, that’s a rhetorical but it does lead one to think that no matter how you present etc to the world, somebody is ready to have a go at you and you have to be armoured to address this.
Obviously, or not, I must somehow challenge younger men or it’s just purely random stuff, and I think it’s the latter in today’s situation, but it certainly makes one think about just how threatened the Male (or some) of the species feels. Insecurity, we all have that in degrees, but it’s the act of picking on other people for whatever the reason is that just gets annoying for 3 seconds or less. Also kinda makes me think, some people just cannot rise above the bubbling slime pool in which they were born. They will never attain nor gather respect as a human being so long as their behaviours remain the same as those in the bubbling slime pool. Being and/or proving how stupid you are keeps you in the pool. Just because you can walk upright, speak and be recognised as a human, does that immediately mean you are a decent person? No, and it takes more than just male-bonding behaviours to lift you from the said Pool.
What elevates us from the rest of the animal world is useable intelligence, brains and communications, the opposable thumb and our creativity and thurst for knowledge, our drives to attain betterment and realisation of potential, not simply eating and procreating and being safe from the next predator possibly lurking around the next corner or behind the next tree. We mould and shape our world, our lives and our civilisations, we rise above the bubbling slime pools and demonstrate just how awesome we are, what extend live can attain. But not some, and my yardstick, whilst admittedly not beign the world’s greatest is conscious and very much alive. For all that we do, some people see what they call weaknesses and use them to advantage. They pick them, yes we all cannot help but see them, but we all Can help ourselves from not saying nor doing anything bad with this knoweldge and observations.
We get taught from the earliest of years to see and highlight differences, to say which it red freitruck and which is the blue ball, but it seems for some, they cannot resist telling everybody about it, when in fact we all don’t actually care. Decent humans know when to not say something, to not hurt others with their words and to be nice, even if you say nothing at all. Decency is a good virtue to have and perhaps the One saving grace is that much of the time we encounter decency. It’s the indecency of personal attacks and jibes etc that hurt the most, the unnecessary words spoken to our faces or gossiped around the tearoom.
Sometimes I just wonder if TG people will ever be accepted by society? We all know that other people are happy to bring us down, but we must learn to bounce back better than ever, to dismiss the jibes and keep going. Full steam ahead and damn the torpedoes! We can rise above the bubbling slime pools that hang around waiting to pick on people and Us. We can get acceptance with behaviours that denomstrate we are above the slime pool and we can get respect from people because of this achievement. Its our manners, our presentations and behaviours that count, always has been for everybody. We cannot influence everybody, but we can influence others to see us in better light if we don’t make ourselves too ‘pickable.’ Don’t get me wrong, I’m not 100% advocating the idea of transition and vanish into a hetero world, shoving your head in the the sand, but I do advocate that there is some level of decency and acceptance in this, and that for each individual person there are degrees in which they are comfortable with this. If you are having trouble when you go out in a dress etc, day or night, then perhaps its time you looked at what you are doing as much as what you are wearing!
The clothing we wear is an image. The manners we wear too are an image. Have a think about it, bad clothing and people think you are such n such, so too is the manners we display. Adjusting these just a little at a time shows that we are real people, deserving of respect and perhaps admiration too and with that comes empathy and acceptance and perhaps along the way change to how society and Law treats us.
We can sit and take the BS from others (or the self-inflicted) or we can get out their and improve ourselves. Simply stated, nobody else is going to help us rise higher from the slime pools unless we do it for ourselves, show that we are real and decent, and not at all like those males sitting around waiting for the predatorial moment to pounce.
Time for you to get out and live you life, to make a difference for yourself and other people and enjoy it.
MTF TS, and even though I don’t pass (yet), 99.5% of the population in Queanbeyan and Canberra treats me with respect.
