I find so much in this discussion that i can identify with . so much seems familar ! I like dressing sometimse for excitement and mostly because it is relaxing being dressed. Female clothes are sexy and th fell of them can be quite arousing. At the same time th eclothes, the make up , the hair , th shoes to me make for a wonderfull adventure as you have complete freedom to dress many many different ways as a woman. I think a lot of females feel the sexyiness of their clothes but for some the feeling may well be diminished with time. If you look at teenage girls they seem to be very aware of the sexiness of their clothes , make up etc

What a wonderful contribution from Jade (26 September) She sums the issue of tolerance up perfectly. Society is now much better than say the 1960s but still has a long way to go. I came across this quote recently “There are still too many emotionally armed and dangerous soldiers guarding the frontiers of Judeo-Christian culture, taste and prejudice with regard to what is desirable or disgusting in a man”.

It is interesting to hear the different opinions about the how and why, I didn’t know about the three hormone blasts in the womb. Now that could explain a hell of a lot!
But re the feelings when getting dressed. Initially I feel aroused when getting dressed and made up, as I’ve said before, (elsewhere) sometimes the journey feels better than the arrival!
But with experience I found that after the initial excitement settled I was in a very special place, some sort of calmness and serenity type area that I enjoyed very much. Maybe it was just the getting away from a ‘male stress mode’ that was dragging me down, absenting me from that.
Whatever it was after a while I feel so much better, to the degree that I dread going back! Not that I would consider transition, it’s not for me.
Many years ago I spent some time with a friend in Tasmania. She was full time, never had any surgery though. She was retired and just lived her life as an older woman. I was going through a bout of depression then and had written to her and she invited me to come for a holiday. She took me under her wing, so to speak. I spent a week there, after the initial nervousness wore off, (she actually had to coax me to dressing!!!) most of the time in femme mode, shopping, dining and doing the tourist thing totally en femme.
It was probably the most wonderfully liberating time I had ever had, certainly the longest period that I had spent en femme.

    Hi Helen
If you are perhaps curious about the 3 doses of homones and how we develop, I have checked with our Librarian and apparently all our sister clubs received a copy of the DVD I shot. I simply filmed Dr Dennis Cherry giving his lecture and then inserted all his diagrams and photos. Your local club should therefore have a copy of the DVD. It’s called
“Chameleon Society Crossdressing Awareness Conference” ..the chapter to look for is the one “Dennis Cherry”. It’s not long but quite fasinating watching and answers quite a few questions too.

I am soooo jealous about your Tassie holiday ..One of my goals is to be enfemme for a whole week !!

    Enjoy your weekend

    Hugs

Hi. it was wonderful. I went back the following year. My friend had been so generous, helped me ‘find me’ (so to speak, sounds like that old song, I’ve never been to me). So I went back to get to know my friend.
Of course it was different, the past is a different country, but it was still wonderful. I had a lot more confidence this time and didn’t need to be coaxed. In fact we drove to Launceston where there was a wig shop and I got fitted for a new one. Just so many great memories of Tassie, it’s no wonder it’s so special to me.
