I am presently in the market for a new wig but I need a very large one and I can imagine that most suppliers here in Australia dont make them big enough.
I was just checking the website of a store that I went into while I was in Las Vegas earlier this year (the website is based out of their east coast store) and they have wigs that will be big enough to fit me for under $50 + tax and shipping I guess as well as all manner of other accessories for your crossdressing needs.
While $50 might seem indicative of its quality ie you get what you paid for, I have purchased two of those wigs from the store in Las Vegas so I can vouch for the quality.
So far I havent ordered anything online from them so I cant attest to the efficiency of that aspect but will no doubt change that very soon

hey melissa … what a wonderful site! there are only two words that i can think of that sums this up … mmmmmmm and mmmmmmm!

i don’t know how reliable they are in shipping, but most stateside on line stores are pretty reliable.

one other thing i can say about these glamour pusses is that i would highly recommend the louise ferre wigs (they are selling them to get rid of stock so they can sell their own lines). they even have a monofilament model. one of the best type of wigs you can buy is monofiament construction.

Monofilament is a term used to describe the way the inside of the cap is constructed. Monofilament wigs have many unique features, including a hand-tied crown, which makes it easy to part the hair in any direction for maximum styling versatility. Their unique mono top creates the illusion of skin where the hair is parted to achieve the most natural, realistic look.

and the ones on sale here are very reasonably priced.

whoa … and we haven’t even ventured into any of the other sections of goodies yet …

so what are we waiting for??? let the shopping begin … :compress:

Yesterday I took the plunge and ordered a couple of wigs, some clip on earrings (hoops- :D ) and a few other items.
I decided to go for a bigger order and get a few things in one go as it costs $21 no matter how much you get so it is better value to order up big.
You can use a different postal address to your billing address when you order which I what I did.
Now the wait is on, I’ll let you all know how long it takes to arrive.

    Exciting news!!!!
I got an email from my friend in brisbane to say that my package has arrived and I can pick it up whenever I like. So there you go, it has taken just over a week for the whole process to take place.
Its just a pity that I have a chance for some melissa time today but possibly not tomorrow.
I’m really excited now, I only hope that everything fits and that it looks good.
    YAY!!!!

    Melissa

Although I just spoke to my friend about it and he said on the customs declaration they put “hairpieces, clothing and costume jewellery” and that’s on display for everyone to see.
Although it didnt matter in this instance and there probably isnt any way around it, it kind of works against the whole discretion thing

After finding out that they had sent the wrong wig and one other wrong item, I posted it back to them and they then waited for my stuff to arrive and they said that they were going to replace it as it was their mistake.
It took a few weeks all up to fix but it finally arrived and as of today, my original order is complete.
