Would you wear GREEN lipstick? The ‘magic’ make-up that ‘reacts to your body chemistry’ to become the perfect pink hue

The lipstick contains a dye called Red 27, which reacts to the pH balance and temperature of the wearer’s lips, causing the color change.

    Quote:
There is, however, no science to back up the claims that these products magically transform into the hue that best suits the wearer.

In fact, when Examiner writer Lindsay Carbone tried on $30 Dior Addict Lip Glow, a similar lipstick, ‘a toxic hot pink color set in and was quite bright and unsuitable to my skin stone,’ she wrote. ‘In other words, it wasn’t flattering at all.’

And wearers should be warned that the lipstick’s dying properties mean that it can be particularly difficult to remove.

I have some lipstick like that and it is quite good, it has been out for years. I wore some a few weeks back and didn’t realise how well it stayed on. Questions were asked why my lips were so red! Ah well, she knows I am a CD so she should expect it sometimes.

Please don’t get me wrong! Yes I would (use it) and still have difficulty trying to find a resupply of this product. It goes on green and turns pink and stays on forever. In other words stays put or for other circumstances is difficult to remove. Still like it; worth the effort.XN
