I learned a lot from Wayne Goss https://youtube.com/c/WayneGoss he does a lot of tutorials and he basically creates and walks through very femme looks but does this on his own boy face, so i found some of his methods essential (eyeshadow for hooded eyes for example!)

You should also get some bits matched to your skin – absolutely a foundation, a concealer would be good too and maybe some starter eye kits (or see guides/tutuorials online for recommended eye/face pallets to match your skin type and undertones). I had foundation and concealer matched in boymode at a Mecca: i went in and asked to have this done, and worked with a guy MUA in store to try different products to find a match! Mecca is high(er) end but the difference in results are SO worth it

I said hey to the girls at the door and told them i needed to match a foundation and they were like come with us and they took me to a guy makeup artist. He asked about brand preference (OMG Nars!) and then he tested colours on my face, in different lights etc. Was so easy and 0 judgement!

Honestly, i do shop as Chloe, but I wouldnt be out with a full face hun lol

Matching your foundation is so key! Trial and error is expensive, and Mecca are SO happy to help – they dont care if you are a boy, girl, idk penguin… whatever! It was while i was there i learned about colour-correcting concealer which i absolutely live by now!

Every girl should watch some tutorials if they dont have someone with more experience on hand. i’ve seen too many girls who just black out their eye sockets with shadow and call it a look… ah, no honey 😅💁🏼‍♀️
