Hi Melissa
I’m in Brisbane and go to The Shoe Garden in Hawthorne: https://www.shoegarden.com.au/
They have a fabulous array of shoes from Size 10 up. New and branded shoes are top price but they have an under $100 range and some pre-loved shoes at good value. The owner Carol, and staff are very welcoming when I have been in under male and femme modes. They also do mail order.

Hi Bee
I think we were both at the 2024 Ball but didn’t get to meet. Rosie said you were from Brisbane area.
I am trying to get some Brisbane events happening whether they be a cafe, bar or a visit to a cinema or show. I’ve sent some more details to Tanya to promote via and have put out a Race day event at Doomben on May 17. Let me know if you want any more details or to meet or just a phone chat?
My best contact is NickyCD59@outlook.com
Cheers

Hi Bee
Thanks for your reply and interest in a Brisbane social. I’d be keen to meet up for a coffee, vino or dinner….as I love to dress up for a social.
I also went to the Katoomba Ball. My third. Great fun.
There is also a few from old Qld Seahorse who meet Wednesday nights.
Email me on nickycd59@outlook.com and I can fill you in on more.
Cheers

The Qld Seahorse formally disbanded last year Melissa.
A few still meet Wednesday nights in either a cafe in Hamilton or a bar in Brunswick Street.
Let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks for your reply Jane…and totally understand you wanting a bit more about me. I did read your previous posts and thanks for being so open about your trans journey.
Not sure if this reply is public but happy to send more pics via my email at nickycd59@outlook.com. In the meantime to say I am cis male in my mid sixties with a supportive partner/wife, and have been going out as a crossdresser for the last 3-4 years. I’ve mainly gone to the weekly meet ups of the QLD Seahorse group (now disbanded) but also twice to the Seahorse Ball in Katoomba. I’m looking forward to the next Ball – now called Transacthion. I’ve also joined QTrans and been to a picnic. I’ve been out on my own many times and am pretty confident in cafes and some bars. Just nice to share this with likeminded other ladies.
Hope thats of help for now.
Nikki
