Dear Ladies

It’s almost that time of the month again (no sordid jokes please) where the Hoi Polloi of Trans society gather together to right the ills of the world and talk about philosophy and classical literature. Oh wait, that’s another get together ☺.

Anyway for those who prefer a more entertaining night out, the next gathering at the Friend in Hand in Glebe will take place on Friday 21st May at 7:30pm. A table for ten has been booked upstairs, so please private message me if you will be attending.

The wonderful Teresa Clarke is also organising another partners get together, so if any of your partners would like to join please email her separately at teresa.l.clarke.99@gmail.com

Now for the devastating news. Unfortunately due to a travel commitment I won’t be able to join you. I’m sure you will all miss my deep insights into world politics and the plight of the Greater Crested Tern, but I will be with you in spirit so enjoy x

Just a small (but wonderfully vibrant) posse of ladies at the Friend in the Hand last night, enjoying the buzz of the place.

We all discussed and suggested fixing the monthly meet in the third Friday of every month from herein. If that causes anyone a problem let me know.

Hi Ladies

I have agreed with Caroline that I will take over organisation of the monthly catch up at the Friend in the Hand on the third Friday of each month for the time being, giving her a well earned break. I think we all agree it would be a shame to lose traction with such a wonderful social opportunity, one which Caroline has put so much effort into ensuring its success.

Friday 16th April is the date for the next catch up. So hitch up yer knickers, put on ya lippy and pm me to let me know if you are attending (to allow me to book a suitable sized table). Oh and don’t forget to Sparkle!

As girl who has just started to spread her wings and being out and about over the past year this is still the one thing that unsettles me. Even in Trans friendly venues I find myself uncomfortable when going to the bathroom. Being called out in a disgraceful and humiliating manner like this is the stuff of nightmares. Kudos to the woman who stood up for her.
