The Isolation Lounge
Posted by Deleted User on 28/03/2020 at 9:32 amHi everyone.
We’ve opened up this room in TGR to allow all to wander in without fear of being too close and still share your feelings , tell a few jokes share your favourite songs , your favourite cocktail recipes…..pretty much anything you like … well within guidelines
So Adrian and I have stocked the Bar with all the high quality spirits and wines you can imagine so come in for a virtual drink and let’s clink glasses for good times in the future..Caroline

Deleted User29/03/2020 at 10:35 amOne of my favourite pieces from William Shakespeare aka ( Wagger Dagger )
suitably modified for the timesThe quality of mercy is not strained.
It droppeth as Toilet Rolls from heaven
Upon the place beneath. They are two ply
They blesseth she that buys and she that wipes
‘Tis mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes
All important to the thronèd person sitting alone.
Said Roll shows the force of temporal power,
The attribute to awe and majesty
Wherein doth Roll unwinds
But cleanliness is above this rolled array.
It is enthronèd in the Queen of Hearts
It is an attribute to her bravery at Woolies.;
Wherein a pack of eight was obtained.
When need prevailed over almost all other desires
Therefore Virus ! Though pestilence be thy desire, Consider !
That in the course of all of this none of us here
Shall see thy infection, We do not pray for mercy,
It is Science that will prevail over thee
Your origin is well known and Nations will have their say
To mitigate against any re occurrence,
Which, if thou follow, as well this strict court of TGR
Must needs give sentence against you COVID 19.
And you are Gone !!!!!!!!!!!!Acknowledgments to :
— Portia, in William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice, Act 4, Scene 1.[1] -
You’re too old to be out without supervision, so I’ve been told. Stay home, full time. At least should something happen, I can honestly confess, I was unsupervised. I now know what kills the elderly, it’s not
the virus, it’s the bloody boredom. I’ve commenced writing my new global best seller, and no, there’s no title; I’m just writing page after page in between been taken for walkies around the block.
Last night we indulged in couple of fingers of an unpretentious little Shiraz; not bad.
I’m considering decorating our front door with a crucifix and sprigs of Garlic, just to be on the safe side.
By the way, my new novel will make ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ read like an Enid Blighton kiddies story. -
I’ll have a glass of bubbly please ladies….and not the cheap stuff you usually put aside for me Caroline
I’m also writing a book! I’ve had it kicking around in my head for a few years so now while I have the time I’m getting on with it. I’m wrestling with a few titles for it which hopefully the always helpful ladies here might assist with. They are:
Crossdressing For Fun & Profit
My Life As A Strumpet
What Is This Thing Called….Love?
Not A Chance Darling I’m Catholic
Emma Thorne’s Tips For Getting TuckedAnd go……..

I never did like Champagne, so I had a bottle of Shiraz and a beer.
A run down the local oval following a training programme for hockey and reading. Keep an eye on my superannuation as it follows the Titanic.
Over 70 so home in isolation with the wife.
Cheers

Deleted User31/03/2020 at 7:01 amIT’S TDOV Day Today Transgender Day of Visibility
Normally a day where Trans people like to be out and about but its a bit difficult in these times
Also TRANSHUB is launching today .. in a couple of mins actually!!!
No its not a Rocket but a new digital platform to guide people towards professional help when needed.Well I watched most of the Digital launch live streamed since the original plan at Circular Quay had to be abandoned.
Very impressive despite a few tech glitches a lot of people have worked very very hard on this project and there is a lot of information available.[
Happy TDOV !!!!~

I did my very small bit for TDOV , mowed my front lawn in a nice Pink Nike tshirt and tights , sunnies etc , quite a few people about as the house 2 doors down is getting a new roof.
Was a little anxious but loved every minute, never done that before , but want to do it again -

Deleted User02/04/2020 at 12:58 amHi there Caroline, nice to see you here. You just continue to be wonderful in showing us the best of human nature. This is a great idea to set up your bar for the distanced in these antisocial times.
Is everyone writing books? There goes my idea and I do want to avoid being in any memoir written by Emma. It will be hard to work out where fact and fiction collide.
Are you going put pen to paper, now there’d be a story.
My virtuous self says that I need more exercise and less alcohol but the message isn’t getting through. What to do? Time to cull an excessive wardrobe and find the joy in the moment. Nice makeup and a pretty dress will be just the perfect antidote.
Cheers and see you later,
Paula

I thought the Isolation might keep me away from golf but the Queensland Chief Medical Officer deemed it exercise so I played this morning with quite a few restrictions of course but at least got out of the house. Alas no glass of chardy after.
Are you, Caroline still playing? -

GOLF Australia did a back flip and clubs can now remain open for play. But only two players per tee time.
I think golf has been recognised as exercise despite its frustrations!!!
I too miss a glass of Chardy after the game but its nice to be out in the open and play even with the restrictions. -
I think I will have one now. Here is to you and hope to catch up for a game and a glass sometime on the other side

Ha ha what could you possibly be worried about Paula? You are a Paragon of Virtue darling?
Anyway, Crossdressing for Fun and Profit (yes I’ve settled on the title) is not an autobiography. Anything I wrote along those lines would have to be asked for at the booksellers and sheepishly removed from under the counter by an embarrassed shop assistant in a brown paper bag (the book, not the shop assistant).
No my tome is a handbook for the emerging crossdresser. What to do, how to do it, and where to do it, written in my usual style of not taking this, or anything else, too seriously. If you are looking for another The Gender Trap or I Married A Crossdresser this won’t be it but it will be instructional as far as what I’ve learned over decades of transvestism. I’m 4 chapters in – all written in a ‘ready reckoner’ style. No doubt it will be an essential tool for new girls and many of us love an essential tool.

Emma,
Despite writing furiously for a while, I struggled with the hook. The opening sentence was written, fifty times, rewritten, recomposed. The sentence is now good, not perfect, but good. I know Roald Dahl spent hours in Gypsy House rewrting and composing before he arrived as near perfection as he thought possible. -
Hi Liz, what I’ve found when I’ve been stuck on a section is I just go to another one – just because we read books in a linear fashion it doesn’t necessarily follow that you write them that way. If you have a loose framework for your opus this shouldn’t be too difficult to do. Good luck!
