A group of us are off to Broken Heel again in September. Dates for the Broken Heel Festival are September 5th, 6th, 7th in Broken Hill.
I have been told that there is a shortage of available accommodation and transportation from Sydney to Broken Hill return. The train is fully booked. In saying that some of us are traveling from Sydney to Broken Hill return by chartered bus. There is still accommodation, tickets & travel available if anyone is interested in attending the Broken Heel Festival. I would suggest that you contact Planet Dwellers Travel Darlinghurst as they are offering packages on their web site. It is indeed a great weekend and was lucky enough to cross paths with Adrian last year whilst staying at the same Hotel.
