  “Broadminded Bendon”- Ruining their brands??

  Hi all,

  Sad news for those on TGR who love our Fayreform bras.(not to mention a few other brands!)

  The following is extracted an e.mail from one of my favorite Fayreform suppliers, (name withheld, “just in case”)
  I asked her why Fayreform had gone from her website as well as Lisa’s Lacies in Seaford

  here’s her answer

  Coral ? poor old ‘Coral’ and all of the other Fayreform and Bendon basic bras and briefs! If that company pulls its self back from the brink of suicide, I’ll be very surprised. The story goes, that Bendon who also handles Fayreform, Heide Klum, (formally Elle MacPherson), and a few other that I dont carry has been bought out by a big overseas company (with a dumb name that I can;t remember – probably because I didn;t want to). For some stupid reason they have let their basics run out – absolutely NOTHING left in basic stock !

  So all that’s left is the coloured styles such as I bought at the Bendon outlet in Richmond a while back, (further confirmantion of the above??)

  Amazing that businesses of any persuasion, selling any product, can so willingingly stuff up their markets. Reminds me of a few wine industry case studies I can quote in detail, but I dont have all day to write about them, neither do you all to read them!
