  Cross-dressing local gov’t worker arrested

  KANAZAWA, Ishikawa — A 41-year-old official of the municipal government of Konan, Shiga Prefecture, has been arrested for trespassing into a women’s changing room at a leisure facility in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, dressed as a woman, it was learned Saturday.

  The suspect was identified as Ryuhei Kameda. Police said he dressed as a woman and entered the changing rooms at around 5:30 p.m. Friday. He was quoted as saying he had taken a dip in the facility’s pool in a bikini. Facility staff were alerted by other users that a strange person was on the premises.
