Travel Insurance – good question.
If you get ill on board it will cost you a bomb – in a worst case scenario you may be helicoptered of the ship!
And your Medibank (or alternative Australian insurance) will not cover it.
So my answer would be yes – but I would get the cheapest policy possible and not include the last day in the coverage (if it helps reduce the premium). The reason being that the ship will probably dock in Sydney at about 4am so you are not liekly to need onboard treatment.

I actually never bother when doing cruises in Aus waters as if you can survive a day or two you will get an ambulance at next port. Your call as I always use a multi trip policy as a regular trabveller

I am not sure if Princess are running a shuttle from Melbourne Airport to Station Pier Melbourne. And, if they are, is it available for passengers who haven’t booked their cruise or flight using Princess to book rather than Clean Cruising.

Hi All,

Last Transformal was extra special in that we had such a number of supportive family members in attendance.
I hope this continues with next years Cruise to Nowhere.
I was fortunate three years ago in that my eldest daughter attended the Seahorse Victoria 40th anniversary ball in 2015. (please see pic.)
I have asked if she would like accompany us on the cruise and at this stage she is pretty keen.
I am posting this to help encourage others who may be thinking of inviting family along.
