Cut or not? Transgender question at Hong Kong Airport

Saw this article on news.com.au this morning. Story relates to alleged insensitive treatment and unreasonable questioning of transgender tourists trying to enter Hong Kong. The former colony has always been suspicious of trans girls from the region trying to enter HK for the purpose of prostitution. As such these girls tend to face a greater level of scrutiny by customs officials in respect to their intentions. That said, and assuming that the report is true, the specific and invasive questioning of them crosses the line in my view. See link below.
