  I have simplified the over-complex and often broken logic that determined if you could edit a post you made in the forums.

  With the new simplified system you can edit any post you create, at any time
  UNTIL someone votes on it with the reputation system.
  Once someone has rated your post you can’t subsequently edit it.
  You will see an edit button – but it has a red cross through it.

  This should make it much easier to fix up typos etc that one only ever seems to notice AFTER posting!
