  gender reassignment tie

  At work, every time the situation comes up where we might be short of a female staff member, someone will say to one of the guys “cant you just go put on a skirt?”
  The female uniform doesnt consist of a skirt at all, in fact the women wear the exact same uniform as the men (same cut of shirt and they wear mens pants) and in fact the only difference is the tie that the women wear so really, what they should say to signify a man substituting for a woman is that “cant they put on a different tie?”
