Grishno getting married
On June Saturday the 6th 2009, Erin a 24-year-old transgender girl (MtF) is to be married to Morgan just a normal girl.
I know of Erin from her youtube Bloggs which started three or four years ago. Watching Erin make a life for a self in busy New York City captured my imagination. Hearing how she reinvented herself after leaving home in the Utah and the family that didn’t understand. she tells the story of being a Seventh-day Adventists and how the community there would not understand her needs to be who she wanted to be!But over the years all things change and Erin’s mother has accepted her choice of life and partner, and will be attending the wedding in New York. Only one sad thing in all this joy, and Erin pointed this out to all of us. It’s that she had to be married now before her reassignment surgery while she still had her male driver’s licence so she could obtained the marriage certificate from the government. the look on the face of the person at the Registry office where Erin applied further wedding certificate must have been amazing, seeing to girls come in wanting to get married then figuring out one of them wasn’t a girl, and they have the legal right to get married.
I do hope we all can wish the very best for the new married couple it’s not an easy road to travel. But the two people from the very beginning understanding each other makes me hope that this couple may make it and live the dream of being very happy and it love.
