Hard to find somebody who has like interests
Posted by Anonymous on 02/11/2004 at 10:31 pmHi all,
Not sure this is in the right place but anyway…..
I have been looking for a like minded cross dresser to share experiences with but am not having much luck at all….
One or two emails seems to be the limits of most people, then they disappear. Maybe I am just to choosy??? (or something)
It is difficult being a married cross dresser. I do it for the enjoyment not because I look good or anything remotely like that . I have no desire to go out in public like a lot of you other girls but would like to meet and dress in a private setting with other girl/s. After that I am not sure what I want but that is part of the allure I guess.
Anyway if you have any thoughts on the subject I would love to hear them….
P.S. Does anybody read these forums…they seem a bit dead!

Guest22/11/2004 at 11:46 pmHi Katherine and Rebecca,
Guess you are experiencing the same frustrations as me!!! We obviously all live in the wrong state lol…..
My wife does know about my cross dressing, she tolerates it but not sure she understands it. Anyway at least I am still married after she found out lol….

Guest21/01/2005 at 11:55 pmI dress at home and supported by my wife, and I do travel quite often if anyone is interested, but like most, don’t go out.

Guest22/01/2005 at 8:10 amhi everyone.
It seems that lots of girls are not happy and in all states but I guess being a crossdresser is hard in different ways for all of us.Some are happy to stay at home and do their own thing and others are like me and want to go out.The problem is that we are carefull and do not really know most of the girls who like to come here and express their feelings,so it’s hard for even those who are looking to go out to look for whoever fits their own needs.Mine are faily straight and I am carefull of who I want to meet and go out with.Does that make sense?Anyway I try.

Hi everyone,
I live in Brisbane, have a crossdresser since I was about ten. I am married but my wife does not like it at all. We have split on three occasions but I am back home after purging and hypotherapy. But alas neither worked and I am back dressing, and wanting to meet other girls for dressing. I think about going out but have not reached that stage. I have dressed at home with other girls and had some fun. I would like to meet other girls in Brisbane.Robynne

Guest23/01/2005 at 10:11 amI can understand the sentiments behind this thread but I guess the operative words in Kiki’s post are ‘like minded’. What do you mean by ‘like minded’. I know when I first was moved from home as a 20 year old I joined The Beaumont Society in the UK….and then when I moved here I was in Seahorse for a period. In fact I couldn’t wait to join and I remember the joy of finding others like me.
However after a while I realised that I preferred to do my own thing. Maybe I’m anti-social but I mostly prefer just to go out dressed alone – admittedly it would be nice to meet with a g/f occasionally.
These days with the ‘net and contact sites and the opportunity to email and chat with other girls – in addition to the social groups – I would have thought the chances of finding a ‘like minded’ g/f are much higher than in the past.
However trannies generally are still mostly closeted and protective of their privacy so finding someone ‘like minded’ with facilities to let you dress may still difficult.

Guest24/01/2005 at 7:29 amHi Girls,
Maybe I am in different circumstances but I started out to what I thought was crossdressig but realised , in fact, I was transsexual as I grew older. I would be more than happy to chat on line with you all, say if we all go to the chat room in the advertised hours this Thursday night.
Hugs
Vanessa.
PS You are all welcome to email me, I will reply anytime -

Guest26/01/2005 at 12:49 amDear Kiki and other Melbourne girls. I am organising outings and shopping days for Melcourne girls and visitors. We have had one dinner already. Colleene has attended and might post some pics. Friday is the best day and evening for me. Celeste

Guest27/01/2005 at 11:13 pmHi ALl,
It’s been a while since I posted the original message and nothing much has changed.
I corresponded with a couple of people and that’s about as far has it has gone.
Anwyay I am not interested in going out in public, just want to find somebody (or a group) to get together in a private setting…….
Oh well today is the first chance I have had to get dressed in a month or so (school holidays!) so just thought I would pop in and say hello again
Regards,
Kiki
