I’ve been taking Black Cohash, Don Quai, and Vitex for about six months.
Recently added Milk Thistle and am trying Saw Palmetto which may or may not help. I’ve also used a Progesterone cream. I’ve also worn bras daily for four months. That will help too. A strong development/structural one like Playtex 18 hour will do the
most but almost anything helps. I’ve added 1.5 inches and am not sure when I’ll stop. Much more and I will not likely go to the pool “topless”. If you have high blood pressure, avoid anything with Licorice or Potassium.
    Yes, MD supervision is advised.

Ok, I’ve been trying a herb combonation for 2 months now a little change so far but these things dont happen over night I’m willing to stick with it abit longer, but my thoughts and research have led me to belive that, 1: Saw Palmetto should help as its ment to decrease the amount of testostrone produced by the body (3.600mg/day reccomended max)
2: Progesterone cream should be used 1 week out of every 4 to mimic the effects of a menstruation period (used to keep hormone levels in balance) too much can inhibit estrogen and can slow breast growth if applied to breasts directly (I apply to inner thighs)
3: during growth constant bra wearing can stop blood circulation to breasts also slowing growth
Like i said, i’m only 2 months into my routine (red clover, fenugreek, saw palmetto) but this is info I’ve found while researching and hope it helps :)

    Warning on Black Cohosh

First it has been know to cause liver damage and it can cause what is known as a heart block.

It interferes with the signal to the heart.

I tried it a for a short time and gave it away when I read of the possible liver damage.

But it may have cause my collapse at work in 2007, my heart rate went to low and was sent to hospital and had a pacemaker fitted. I have not touched black cohosh since and the pacemaker is hardly working at all.

On the herbal debate some of the preparation have herbs that compete against each other. Also the misinformation from competing companies for example.

Wild Yam:- they say this is no good because the active ingredient cannot be converted into progesterone in the human body. This may be true but it is a red herring. Although wild yam is oestrogenic the may action is to stimulate the aromatase pathway. Testosterone is converted into oestrogen.

Now almost all of the oestrogenic herbs in the preparations are aromatase inhibitors and the oestrogen they provide is not great.

With the aromatase pathway T-blockers are not needed, testosterone is needed for the aromatase to make oestrogen.

    Ye Gods this is complicated

    Take care
    Vicki

    Hi,

The info thats given on herbs has not been tested by the F D A or any other commanys because they dont work like synthic meds drugs ,
as to the progestrone creams or any for that matter at what rate or % are they rated at.

First off i see no talking about blood tests before or after . ANY , drugs or meds are taken , so all info that is being said about . HOW . they are working & effects can not be trailed or even give a idear of are they working or have,

I’v been around drugs meds for 37 years & know how they work or not & how some interact with others & over ride others,

With out blood tests its pie in the sky,

Those who are takeing these herbs or synthic , did you have a base count done . i dought many would have or even see an endo.

So theres no point asking why not , is there,

meds taken by mouth will only work at about 80 % so how much will a cream work , may be with out a test to see how much goes in to your body , . ill quess about 10 to 20 % if that. & that has to be over months like at lest 6 months ,

If your receptors are not intune with the meds your body will reject them.

because the receptors wont work . it will only take those that your body is programed to take,

So my ? is as iv been on meds for over 6 years i know what has taken place & iv monitered my body for 46 years i think i would know , plus blood tests & yes i have them all & know how im rated at.

So if these so called herbs work why then is there no documention on them . even the sellers dont have it or know whats in them . i have sent emails to a few & not a one will tell me a thing , no back up no proof ,

& they wont even if they get it if they could so whats really in these made up herbs or the additives. ???,

My advise is go see an endo have the tests & ask those endos & i know what they will say,

Of cause good advise will not be taken , will it

If I’m reading her correctly, I agree with Noleena about the unknowns of herbal breast enhancement products.. And in my own opinion I suspect that there’s some placebo effect at work regarding such products. Looking at the scientific literature, it appears close to impossible to get any results from such products, and to do so would require ingesting extremely large and likely dangerous quantities. Based on the research, it seems commercially available herbal breast enhancement products (and other endocrine disruptors occurring in everyday cosmetic and hygiene products) will likely only affect the sexual development of prepubescent youths, not adults. As Noleena says, just bite the bullet and see an endo. At least this way you’ll be relatively safe and know whether what you’re taking is working.

I would love to think that taking herbs would give me a satisfyingly larger bust line, but unfortunately I think that any experimentation with herbs is a dangerous exercise. There have been many herbs over the years that do wonderfull things but some have also been found to react very badly with different medications.
Echinacea was the wonder drug to boost your immune system, but it was later found to be very detrimental to anyone who had HIV. St Johns Wort was also a wonderfull herb, but it reacted badly to blood thinning drugs.
I guess what I am saying is if you really want to use herbs as an alternative to medication, then you must be extremely carefull before proceeding down this path.
    Hugs Pamela!
