Guest19/11/2009 at 6:02 amI have two wigs (one red, one a darker red), but I have now reached the point where my own hair is too thick and long to confortably fit under either of them. So I’m trying to use that instead.

Guest19/11/2009 at 11:15 pmOk I sore a post a while back in this section about wig care, ok I come up with what might be a good way to help you girls with wigs out. There is a company called Keune which I used in a salon I worked in just recently the product is design for hair extensions which are usually made from human hair the product is a shampoo conditioner and a leave in spray by Keune. The salon I worked in does heaps of hair extension we did about 2 – 3 a day seems every one wants long hair at the moment.
Also does anyone straighten or restyle their wigs I would suggest that you use a heat protection spray as you straighten curl them just like real hair just a few tips to keep your wigs in top condition just like real hair thanks love Chel xxxxxx -

Guest20/11/2009 at 10:17 amI’ve just bought my first, el-cheapo wig. It might become a duster when I can fund a better one. Just this count or doesn’t one wig cut it for this forum. 😉
Hugs Pamela!

I just can’t resist buying new wigs. Just wearing a new one today I bought from the Breastform Store. Its their Incognito “Flirt” style. Approrpiately name, very sexy and only $78.95. I always look for the cheaper range and I love this one.
I’ve now got 8, having discarded some older ones

Guest06/04/2010 at 5:49 amI only have five, but I promise to do better in the future!!! Gosh, after I tried sending the first sentence it told me I was too brief. They’re right of course. Not enough wigs, not enough shoes, not enough perfume, not enough clothes…

Guest06/04/2010 at 11:00 amWell, I’m clearly missing out on a whole trans subculture here. I don’t own any wigs! (OMG! *shock!*). I’ve never worn one, and I doubt if I ever will. It’s good reading about everyone else’s collections, though!

Guest07/04/2010 at 7:29 amHi Gurls
4 wigs – OMG I have 2 and neither of them will do what they are told. I lined both of them up and gave them a severe dressing down but, alas, no avail!!!
Next time I put one on I looked like I had been out in a storm.

Janep> If you want hair that you can style – real hair wigs are the way.
Acrylic are ‘pre-styled’ to a certain extent so they will return to that style after washing etc. Real hair wigs do not have to be expensive and you can find some at http://wigs.md or you can have your own hand made wig tailored to your head measurements at http://host-a.net/bambi/BangkokWigs-01.pdfHowever real hair wigs do take as much work as real hair but of course can be colored and shaped as you like.

I currently own 2 wigs, the first one is just past shoulder length and the same colour as my own hair, the other one is a little shorter as has some highlights. I plan to buy another, or 2 more wigs in the future

Guest10/05/2010 at 1:47 pmI’m a little upset that I haven’t got one. I have been shopping around, but concerned that if I buy one it will not suit me, and I will waste money.
