Name changes
Wow this has been hugely important for me in many ways but it’s still a challenge, especially in regard to financial circumstances.
Nevertheless , although it was daunting thing to do a few years ago. My legal name change has enabled some very affirmative steps for me in my journey .
Today I was invited to join the Ladies Pennant Team at my golf club. I am still amazed at this and how it signals acceptance by what many would regard as a conservative group in society.
Needless to say I’ve accepted the invitation and look forward to what lies ahead as I meet other women at other golf courses . -
