Rebranding the web site

While I’m here tonight I have noticed a message in another forum referring to us as Transvestites, hence the term Tranny Radio.

I must be stupid because I thought it meant Transgendered, and I was a Crossdresser or Transgendered depending how far I decide to travel this road.

With the faces in the graphic, I could not see any way to fit the map in, except as a large background.

Amanda, do you have a version of the TgR landing page graphic without the faces?

With the move to tgr.net.au, will existing email addresses @trannyradio.com now cease to exist, or will the old domain continue to exist for mail redirection?

That last one was a little rough.
The animated gif not quite as nice as a Flash animation…this one better..

OJ, I think that your latest design picks up the ” radio” theme very well, the (trans)mitter tower more so than just a picture of a radio. I think it is better without animation, you ARE a clever one!! Well done for all your creative work.

Re-branding the website is a wonderful idea and I must say Joanne your artwork and animations are just brilliant, a breath of fresh air which is needed to move this website forward.

I think Amanda has taken on quite a large job which sometimes we don’t realise how hard such a process can be and time-consuming!

But I must say the artwork that has the cartoon characters does not inspire me at all. I do think it’s time to let that style of logo to be put to rest and not used again. I think Joanne modern graphic artwork is a brilliant start if not the finished work.

Amanada – rebranding – does this include renaming the photo album titles in Picasa from “Tranny Radio” to “TgR ” too?

I’m not getting rid of the old domain… but over time it will redirect to the new domain…emphasis on “over time”. I’m certainly not about to loose the emails that come to amanda@trannyradio.com!

Good…but, dare i say it… I’m actually using TgR as the site name (not TGR) to keep some continuity with the people who for years have called (and still will call) the site TR.

So any chance of a lower case g

Tricky…would have to move all the pictures to a new album…
