Simple Sausage Sanger
The secret to this is all in the condiments
Get some good old fashioned fatty beef sausages-not those heart smart pretenders. Throw them on the BBQ and cook-they will go super critical after the flames catch. After cooking set aside, and get some nice crusty long rolls, split and torch on the grill. After toasting the rolls, get a good dujon or whole grain mustard and generously spread onto the roll, and follow this with some bread and butter cucumbers-or if you dare Jalapenos. Put the sausage on, and finish with spicy chilli sauce, and some shredded cheese if you like.
Excellent with a chilled Pinot Grigio, or a snow capped Peroni
