This thread is a product review for Tend Skin solution

Elsewhere in this forum I have described how I have plucked away at my face hair. I’ve been doing it now for about 8 years. Plucking is now part of my daily routine, a routine that has saved me a lot of money that would have gone on IPL and electrolysis. But, every summer I hit a snag. When it is hot I find that plucked hairs either regrow the wrong way or get infected (I’m told that this can also happen if you shell out the $$ on IPL or electrolysis). This results in a lot of unsightly bumps and sores on my face.

But this summer things have been different. When I was looking through a women’s forum on epilation I came across several posters raving about Tend solution. So I bought a bottle.

The ingredients on the label are Alcohol, Water, Propylene Glycol, Acetylsalicylic Acid, Cyclomethicone, Glycerin. Reading the forums the key ingredient is Acetylsalicylic Acid more commonly known as Aspirin.

In the hot weather I have dabbed a small amount of the liquid on my face every couple of days. The improvement has been very noticeable. I have had not had any ingrown or infected hair folicles since starting using Tend.

Tend is available on-line from http://www.facialco.com.au. It isn’t cheap!! A 118ml bottle costs about $36 at the time of writing. But the amount you have to apply to the face is so small the bottle should last a long time. If you use Trend on larger body areas then the financial shock could be quite severe!

The only other CONS I can report is that the liquid has a stringent alcohol/vinegar smell – so strong that you have to be careful when putting it on your face not to breath it in too much.

My verdict is that if you suffer from ingrown or infected hairs then give it a go.
