  TV Prequil to Psycho and Norman Bates, ‘Bates Motel’

  I’ve just discovered that there is, in the pipeline a prequil to ‘Psycho’ destined as a TV series. The theme focusses on Normans Bates’s mother and father and their influence on the development of Norman as a serial killer. Sounds creepy and potentially a very watchable TV series.
  Norman in the movie, (made twice) is depicted as a crossdressing serial killer. Does this mean that such influences from the parents would impact as crossdressing for Norman. We all know that’s a load of utter hogwash, however the general uninitiated public may take it upon themselves to see transgender folk as potential serial killers, not to be left around unguarded kiddies and lonely women. Am I jumping to conclusions ahead of the outcome, or is this a possible concern for TG folk? I wonder how the film makers would handle this? Hope this post is in the right slot Amanda.
