  • “Unofficial TGR Survey”-How do you do up your bra?

Posted by Anonymous on 30/10/2013 at 8:26 pm

    Greetings one and all,

My post about trying to do up my bra whilst wearing stick on nails has generated quite an interesting debate.

So I thought, (with Amanda’s permission of course..), that we’d run a survey on how we all do up our bras…

SO/. How many “chicken wings”, (doing it up behind your back) versus, “front turners” (do it up in front then turn it around), do we have out there???

Participants can take comfort in the knowledge that they have contributed to the “greater expansion of human understanding of the way we live”.

(Sorry, not even a packet of crappy steak knives for the “randomly selected winner”)

So let’s all get that mouse and cursor rolling and “Come on down”!!!

    Happy dressing

    Caty.

PS I’ll start the ball rolling. Firstly, I’m a “chicken winger” from way back, especially with my forms attached. There cant be anything much more “femme” than doing a bra change and having all that lovely weight come free on your chest. Secondly, some “participants” have mentioned how their better ‘arves undertake this task. My beloved is a confirmed “winger”

Chicken winger, for my rear fastening bras.
What would be the appropriate term to use for front fastening bras?

Following Caty’s request I’ve added a poll to her post.
Please record your answer in the poll and not by posting here – or do both!

How do I find the poll? I have clicked on everything I can see on the page and there seem to be no hyperlinks.

True – its been a long time since we had a poll and I’d forgotten how it was done. I’ve changed the permissions now so that everyone can vote!

I do it the same way as my wife and that is to put it on backwards and turn it round.

I don’t use back attaching bras much now, mostly ‘Wonder Bra’ now. Pull over from the top, very comfortable.

I’m a twister, much easier even though it does stretch the little buggers after a while, or is it me losing weight?
On the other hand, how do you undo the bra? chicken winging via the back unattatching, or slip off the shoulders and twist to the front to undo. Personally, I’m a chicked winger when undoing.
I’m sure that if I had the real things, (boobs that is) I wouldn’t wear a bra, I’d be a woman of the seventies and burn the damn things. (Is that right?)

I am a chicken winger. It’s a challenge that I love, it’s so fem. a great sense of achievement. It’s just nice to do.. The. Very first bra I tried on was a front clip fastener type.

Front Turner – I usually wear a RAGO longline bra. 8 – 10 hooks are too many to do per chicken winger. The longline bra acts a bit like a waist clincher as well, and can be worn under male day clothes (without breast forms) or with any of Sammie’s clothing (ie – with breast forms).

I’m a confirmed chicken winger despite being told by Tanya from the BFS that only idiot CDs did it that way. In line with Tanya’s view my wife spins hers round. For removal I usually chicken wing but if getting changed covertly in the car I slip the straps off down my sleeves so I don’t have to remove my shirt/top.
