Hi just wanted to mention accomodation in and around Katoomba is becoming very difficult to find for that weekend. I think there are some other events on. If you are heading up for the weekend book a room asap.
Discovered the northface 100 fun run is on the same weekend.

Ta Jen I had a look through some of Hazels site and while there’s over 4000 records in her list not many are actually TG films there appears to be many with female impersonators, crossdressing, female disguises, tranvestites, drag, porn etc. I my mind these are not TG films. Just becuase there is a male in it wearing womens clothes doesn’t make it a TG film.
My idea was to list films/videos that deal specifically with transgender issues, along the lines of Second serve, Soldiers girl, Boys dont cry, Different for girls.
I appreciate the link tho and I will go through it when I get time.
Oh one other thing for my list, I want to list stuff that is actually available somewhere. I have the majority of material on my list. If your having trouble finding them PM me I can send you links.

I bought some adhesive from here http://www.janetscloset.com
Hollister 7730 Medical adhesive US$27
Remover (Large bottle) US$25
It was only US$15 to get it shipped from the US and took about 2 weeks to get here.I have noticed that the breast form store have started stocking it
Hollister 7730 Medical adhesive $79
Remover (small spray bottle) $79
Shipping $14.95.
http://www.thebreastformstore.com.au/Dont know why the local store is charging 3X the prices of the US store for the same product. Something funky going on there. You will need a lot more of the remover.
The adhesive does work well but it is difficult to get the adhesive off your breast forms and your chest and its messy. After a few hours my skin becomes irritated, i suspect due to lack of contact with air. It also seems, in my case, to make my problem with ingrown hairs worse, under where the breast forms were attached. Its fine for a night out but this is not a long term solution.

Member22/05/2012 at 10:38 pm in reply to: A thread for those who just don’t get the messageWell my posts in the past havent always gone down well so Im wondering if I should continue.. oh well here goes
Im with Amanda on this one.
Sonya you are completely out of line in the manner and tone of the method in which you have asked your questions.
Im assuming Amanda has chosen to restrict the access to the photos due to the simply enormous volume of work it would take to check each photograph for its suitability to be shown to everyone. In the same position I would do the same thing.
As far as Im concerned the issue of respecting the privacy of those who didnt wish to be photographed is more important than your curiosity to see the images of the event.
As far the filming goes I was also concerned about being filmed but quickly realised they had no intention of filming anyone who didnt want to be filmed. I dont believe Amanda would have allowed it if that was the case.
Im also a little disheartened to see people launching very rude and personal attacks on people over issues they obviously know nothing about.

Contacted the band, He apologises for the bad facebook link but has also told me they are performing all Saturdays in July at Bankstown Sports in the Rain Forest Lounge.

Please don’t get the wrong idea about my comments, I’m in no way complaining about any aspect of TF this year I am 100% happy with everything I experienced there. I agree as many others have expressed, Amanda an her helpers did an amazing job and I will be purchasing the first tickets for next year as soon as they are available.
My theory about the band tho with the benefit of 15 years in the entertainment industry, is that their material was limited to rockabilly style music and band with a much wider variety of material in my opinion would of had more people on the dance floor.
You cant have live entertainment ‘in the background’, it just doesn’t work. You either have live entertainment and give them their chance to deliver their entertainment or you have background music in which case u get a DJ.

Hi,
I’ve already mentioned this to Amanda but maybe I’ll mention it here too.
I’ve been a sound engineer and production company professionally for 15 years in Sydney and I’ve worked at A LOT of functions over the years and I have worked with A LOT of bands and yes some I wish I hadn’t. I’m very hard to impress, out of the 100’s of bands I’ve worked with over the years I can only come up with one I could recommend for TF. They are called Big Radio Dynamite, They have a very wide variety of material they can do from Jazz and very low key dinner music, to funky groove, disco, dance and even some rock if necessary. They’re all classically trained very experienced musicians, I think they could do a good job knowing the situation they are going into. Personally I really hate DJ’s but thats just because I’ve had to baby sit so many of them over the years. My suggestion would be to have the band do soft dinner music set during the meal 7.30 – 8.30 , then another more upbeat set set 9.30-10.20, then a dance set from 10.45-11.40/11.45 and maybe a couple of encore songs if neccessary. That gives everyone a chance to chat, dance, go to the bar etc.
I’d like to take to the organisers to see them one night. I think they’d be impressed.
They don’t know about me as Becky so I would have to ‘come out’ to them.

Hey Abbie, One thing I found going to TF this year for the first time, everyone I met was very friendly, I think you will be accepted for who u are not what u look like. Find a look that feels good too you and go with it.
